Welcome to the PHPRN web site. This site is dedicated to helping professionals easily find recovery-related services for those who are in need. While the primary focus has been to assist Physician Health Programs and other Health Professional Wellness Programs the service is available to all Employee Assistance Programs and others in need of referral resources. Listings can be searched nationwide or by region with focus on the particular service required. Just select an area of interest on the left to begin.

This tool was conceived and written by two health professionals who had a need for fast and easy access to information on the resources and services available for treating the patients that we are involved with on a daily basis. We are not professional programmers, so this site may lack some of the visual pizzazz found elsewhere, but we strive to provide the information clearly, quickly, and as accurately as possible.

Benefits of becoming a registered user: All visitors are welcome to use this web site; we are pleased to make the listings available to everyone. However, some of the most useful information, such as the subscribers' comments and facility ratings will not be available to non-registered viewers. To become a registered user you must first complete an application and once this is evaluated you will be issued a key for confidential login.

Registered visitors, in addition to searching for facilities, are able to rate and make comments on each facility. All of the ratings and comments made by other registered professionals are also available for review. We hope in this way to provide the benefit of other professionals' experience with these facilities and services. This can be an invaluable tool for assessing the quality of a program prior to referral. Here is a demo page which shows the results a registered user would see with comments and facility ratings.

When leaving comments we ask that the comment author be willing to leave their name and email address along with their comments. In that way, subsequent users will be able to balance the comments based on the credibility and reputation of the author. Vandalism or inappropriate comments may result in removal of registered status.
